After long waits, on November 2^nd 2020, Yamaha Motor Vietnam has introduced the sporty scooter NVX 155 VVA 2020. This is considered as the most impressive introduction of a new version of an existing model with considerable upgrades including changes to appearance, design, equipment, and safety systems.

Mr. Khang Dao (Hanoi), who is passionate about sport scooters, was thoroughly impressed after test-riding the NVX 155 VVA2020. Like many other young customers, Khang said that the NVX 155 VVA 2020 had a more harmonious exterior design than its old version thanks to the simplified details, as well as more masculinity and sharply designed parts.

At the front, the headlight unit is more harmonious and more balanced with the overall vehicle. It is sharpened and pulled higher to the sides to create a more modern and sportier highlight. Additionally, the navigational LED is also an iconic new feature of the front design.

The rear seat is slightly lowered, and the seat material is also upgraded, divided into two distinct parts following the line of the tail, bringing the comfort for both the driver and the passenger. Legroom is optimized by widening the floor area and gently sloped back for a more stable sitting position.

Taillights and turning signals create a 3D visual effect. The taillights are designed in 3D, much more eye-catching than the old version. Turning signals remain the same with arch design. The tail is also changed to be more compact. This is the feature that the young prefer because the shape is neater, sportier, and more masculine.

The impressive feature on the NVX 155 so far is that the use of large tires makes the motorbike more attractive. 14-inch wheels come with front tire sized 110 and rear tire sized 140. The front brake is a single disc brake and ABS is standardly equipped. The rear is still a drum brake.

Front shock absorber is a telescopic type with a fender to avoid soil and rock falling into the suspension. The rear shock absorber uses a double cylindrical spring with a removable oil tank. The design of a removable oil tank will provide better experience.

The all-new NVX 155 VVA uses a 155cc Blue Core 4-stroke single cylinder engine, liquid-cooled, electronic fuel injection implemented with CVT system. The diameter and stroke of the piston are 58 x 58.7mm; compression ratio stands at 11.6 : 1, higher than the previous engine generation. The 155cc Blue Core engine of the Yamaha NVX 155 new version produces 15.1HP and 13.9 Nm of max torque. The NVX 155 VVA is 0.4HP and 0.1 Nm more powerful than the old one. The throttle valve diameter and compression ratio have been increased, while the brand redesigned the heat exhaust to improve efficiency. This gives driver the excitement when throttling while saving fuel at the same time. The motorbike has a fuel capacity of 5.5 liters, an increase of 0.9 liters compared to the old model, giving a range of up to 200km / refill. The tank lid is arranged outside for convenient fuel filling.

The Yamaha NVX 155 VVA 2020 also has new features such as a smart lock system Smart Key with a rotary knob that can perform many functions such as: start / stop engine, unlock / lock the neck, opening the seat, opening the gas tank lid, navigating the motorbike. The system stops the engine temporarily and re-starts when the vehicle is stopped or when the road is crowded to save gas. The buttons on the two handlebars of the NVX are quite plentiful; on the left there are turn signals, low beam / high beam headlight on / off, and horn. The front has a Menu switch that controls other features on the dashboard of the motorbike. To the right, there are lights switches, engine on, and auto start / stop.

The redesigned NVX 155 VVA 2020 dashboard looks more beautiful and refined. The internal interface is also modern, 2 sides display the rotation speed, speed is displayed in the middle of the clock.

The motorbike is equipped with a phone charging port in a convenient storage, a large storage compartment with a capacity of 25 liters.
