Priced at nearly 75,000 USD (approximately 1.83 billion VND), the Kia EV9 is one of the most accessible three-row electric SUVs in the North American market.

Last month, Kia announced the 2024 EV9 starting at 54,900 USD in North America, and now they have disclosed the prices for other variants.

The EV9 Light Long Range variant starts at 59,200 USD. This variant is almost identical, but it only has 6 seats instead of 7 like the standard Light variant priced at 54,900 USD. It also includes features like HomeLink, along with optional features such as a sunroof and heated steering wheel.

The EV9 Light Long Range uses a 99.8kWh battery for the rear electric motor, producing 201 hp and 349 Nm of torque. The car can travel nearly 483 km after each charge, much higher than the level of 359 km of the standard variant. However, the standard variant has a higher power of 215 hp.

Next is the EV9 Wind e-AWD, priced at 63,900 USD, equipped with 19-inch wheel rims, a panoramic sunroof, and electric rear doors. Inside the car, there’s a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 12.3-inch infotainment screen, and a 5-inch HVAC screen.

This variant is equipped with two electric motors, forming a 4-wheel drive system, with a total power of 379 hp and 600 Nm of torque, along with a 99.8kWh battery pack, allowing the car to travel 435 km on a single charge.

Next, the EV9 Land e-AWD variant, starting at 69,900 USD, features LED headlights, illuminated grille, 20-inch wheels, auto-dimming side mirrors, etc.

Notable interior features include power-adjustable steering wheel, digital rearview mirror, illuminated steering wheel logo, ambient lighting, ventilated rear seats, and a 14-speaker Meridian sound system.

The Land variant shares the same engine as the Wind variant but has a power generator feature. The car can travel 407 km on a single charge with 20-inch wheels and 435 km with 19-inch wheels.

The top-tier model is the EV9 GT-Line e-AWD, priced at 73,900 USD, distinguished from the lower-priced variants by its unique front-end design, dark gray exterior accents, and dual-tone 21-inch wheels.

Notable interior features include premium suede headliner, stainless steel pedals, special seats with GT-Line logo, HUD screen, self-leveling suspension, Intelligent Parking Assist System, and Parking Collision-Avoidance Assist.

In terms of performance, the two electric motors in the Kia EV9 GT-Line e-AWD produce 379 hp and a torque of 699 Nm. However, the operating range of the car is quite modest – only 391 km per charge.

The most advanced variant, the Kia EV9 GT-Line e-AWD’s price, is significantly cheaper than the VinFast VF 9 in the same segment. The three-row electric SUV from Vietnam starts at 83,000 USD for the Eco variant and 91,000 USD for the Plus variants in the US.

However, the VinFast VF 9 possesses more impressive specifications. Specifically, the car uses two electric motors, producing 402 hp, along with a 123kWh battery pack, allowing for a range of 531 km per charge for the Eco variant and 468 km per charge for the Plus variant. VinFast VF 9 is priced on par with luxury cars like the Tesla Model X (80.000 USD).
