It is expected that there will be a total of 500 points in Petrolimex’s system, spanning through the North – Central – South regions to be integrated VinFast electric vehicle charging service.

On October 14, VinFast Trading & Service Company Limited and Vietnam National Petroleum Group (Petrolimex) officially opened the electric vehicle charging station service at the first 10 Petrolimex in all three regions of North – Central – South. The first petrol stations selected are located at Dien Bien, Phu Tho, Hanoi, Thanh Hoa, Ha Tinh, Da Nang, Khanh Hoa, Tien Giang, and Ca Mau.

According to plans, at these stations, there will be 60kW, 150kW and 300kW fast charging poles meeting CCS2 standards. VinFast charging stations all meet European standards ISO-15118 and IEC 61851, ensuring maximum safety in terms of power supply and fire and explosion prevention, electrical leakage and waterproofing.

The first 10 petrol stations of Petrolimex with integrated VinFast electric vehicle charging service are in beautiful and easily accessible locations on national highways and provincial roads.

The provision of VinFast electric vehicle charging station service at the system of Petrolimex petrol stations is a step to concretize the cooperation agreement that the two sides signed in June. It is expected that in 2022-2023, more than 500 charging stations will be installed and open to customers alongside petrol pumps in the premises of Petrolimex petrol stations nationwide.

In the next phase, the two sides will continue to research suitable locations to expand the electric vehicle charging service provider network, to meet the needs of customers as well as future development orientation. Along with cooperating with major partners such as Petrolimex, VinFast is also actively building charging station infrastructure and a nationwide system of service workshops.
