GSM Smart and Green Moving Joint Stock Company officially opens operation of SM Green Taxi service in Da Nang with an expected scale of 500 vehicles.

Da Nang is the third city in the Central region with the presence of SM Eco-friendly Taxi. This is the next destination on GSM’s journey of expanding electric taxis in the provinces and cities with the most developed tourism industry in the country.

SM Eco-friendly Taxi officially operated in Da Nang from June 16 with standard taxi service GreenCar and luxury taxi LuxuryCar. GreenCar uses VinFast VF e34 and VinFast VF 5 Plus cars with the characteristic Cyan blue color, while LuxuryCar uses VinFast VF 8 cars with luxurious original paint colors.

In the first phase, SM Eco-friendly Taxi put into operation VinFast VF e34 and VinFast VF 8 in Da Nang. The company will add to the VinFast VF 5 Plus fleet and increase the number of vehicles based on actual demand. It is expected that in 2023, SM Eco-friendly Taxi will deploy 500 vehicles in Da Nang.

In Da Nang, SM Green Taxi has an opening price for the first 0.5 km of 10,000 VND for VF 5 Plus, 11,000 VND for VF e34 and 12,000 VND for VF 8. From the next 0.5 km to the second kilometer 25, the fare is 15,500 VND/km for VF 5 Plus, 17,000 VND/km for VF e34, and 20,000 VND/km for VF 8. From the 26th kilometer onwards, the fare is 11,500 VND/km, 13,000 VND/km and 16,000 VND/km, respectively.

Similar to many provinces and cities that have deployed the service, customers in Da Nang can book a car through the SM Green Taxi mobile application, easily call SM Green Taxi via the nationwide switchboard number 1900 2088 or directly wave the car on the road like Traditional taxis. In addition, customers can book a car through the beVinFast service on the multi-service consumer platform “Be”.

Considered one of the most livable cities in Vietnam, Da Nang owns many famous scenic spots, as well as peaceful living space, close to nature. Therefore, the appearance of the first pure electric taxi company in Vietnam will contribute to increasing the visitor’s experience with 5-star passenger transport services.
