The pure-EV CUV VF 6 having an electric motor with a battery capacity of 59.6 kWh, a range of 381-399 km, are competing with Hyundai Creta, Toyota Yaris Cross.

VinFast dealers informed that the commercial version of VF 6 is expected to be launched at the end of September. The automaker has not announced yet the selling price of this model and has not received deposit for it as well.VinFast VF 6 is positioned in the B-size crossover segment, which includes gasoline cars such as Hyundai Creta , Kia Seltos … The VF 6 concept version has a soft coupe-style design thanks to the sloping C-pillar. The car is equipped with a tensioned steering wheel along with VinFast’s signature V-shaped positioning strip.

The VF6 has dimensions of length x width x height respectively at 4,238 x 1,820 x 1,594 (mm) and a wheelbase of 2,730 mm. Compared to gasoline-powered competitors, the VF 6 is shorter, wider, slightly higher than the Creta and lower than the HR-V. Particularly, the wheelbase of the VF 6 is longer than its competitors.

The interior of the VF 6 concept features a 12.9-inch central touch screen oriented towards the driver. The vehicle’s buttons are minimalistic, and there is no space between the driver’s seat and the adjacent passenger, unlike gasoline cars. Below the entertainment screen are mode selection buttons like D (forward), R (reverse), etc. The car does not have a speedometer behind the steering wheel.
The VF 6 is equipped with an electric motor on the front axle. While the Eco version produces a power of 174 hp and 250 Nm of torque, the Plus one produces a power of 201 hp and 310 Nm of torque. Both versions have a 59.6 kWh battery pack with a range of 399 km on the Eco version and 381 km on the Plus version.

VinFast VF 6 will be the 5th pure-electric model after VF 5 , VF e34 , VF 8 , VF 9 sold by the Vietnamese company in Vietnam. The last time VF 6 appeared in public was at the VinFast exhibition in Hanoi.
