Many famous models keep Honda’s prices are currently falling quite sharply, stimulating user demand, causing the number of models sold in April of the company to increase.

Honda Vietnam (HVN) recently announced its business results of April 2023, according to which the motorcycle segment recorded impressive growth compared to the previous month.

Specifically, HVN said it sold a total of 208,116 motorcycles in April 2023, 33.31% increase compared to previous month and 12.7% increase compared to the same period last year. In particular, the Wave Alpha, Vision and Winner X models continue to maintain their role as the best-selling digital cars, station wagons and clutches respectively.

This result is quite surprising since many predictions previously said that the market is seemingly “frozen” in the context of people tightening spending in the circumstance of low potential developments of the global economy.

Earlier in the beginning of April, HVN adjusted the price increase of a series of motorcycle models with an increase from 50000 VND to 2,000,000 VND depending on the model. However, in fact, the selling price at the dealer tends to decrease compared to before. Many models that are famous for keeping prices are now also recording unprecedented prices. For example, Honda Vision is only about 1 million VND higher than the list price, while the Winner X and Vario 160 are even below the company’s proposed price.

In May, the selling price of Honda models continued to maintain a downward trend at dealers. For example, Honda Lead 2023 is currently priced at only 38-42 million VND, about 2 million lower than the company’s listed price.

The price reduction of HEADs will certainly have a positive impact on sales of Honda motorcycles, but nothing can be foretold since the economy is still unpredictable.
